Special Achievements

Training and Teaching:

• First person from north India to be entrusted by the prestigious ‘National Board of Examinations’(NBE) to run honorary fellowship, in Reproductive Medicine at Ganga Ram Hospital from 2008 onwards.
• Examiner for exit examination of NBE. conducting examination at my centre,
• Inspector of newly emerging centres across the country for running this post-doctoral course.
• Founder member and past president of Indian Fertility society 2008 to 2010 (IFS), which was incepted in 2005.
• Running 2-year Diploma course under aegis of IFS in the field of reproductive medicine.
• On advisory board for the Journal ‘Journal of Fertility Science & Research’ published by Indian Fertility Society.
• Running the clinical embryology 2-year Diploma course in clinical embryology under the aegis of IFS under my supervision and also training half yearly embryology certification courses under the aegis of ISAR.
• Conducting short observer ship courses for aspiring gynaecologist under the flagship of ‘Federation of Obstetrics & Gynaecological societies of India’ for ‘advanced infertility training’, since 2008 and felicitated in 2017 for imparting the highest number of ‘advanced infertility trainings in IVF’, across the country.
• Masterclasses every week on digital platform every Thursday 7 to 8 pm for all young aspiring clinicians willing to learn.

Awards as Clinician

• Responsible for the First IVF baby in Northern India, conceived and delivered on the 21st of September 1991, at the Unit of IVF & reproductive Medicine at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi.
• Felicitated with award by DMA on B.C. Roy’s birthday, 1st July 1999, as pioneer in the field of medical profession & for great contribution towards medical and public health.
• Felicitated by ‘Nations Vikas Ratan Award’ on 29th April 2002 at New Delhi by Nations Economic Development & Growth Society.
• Felicitated for outstanding contribution towards field of specialty by her parent institute at Agra Alumni Delhi branch in 2006.
• Felicitated with “Chikitsa Ratna Award” by International Study Circle in 2007.
• Felicitated by “Medical Excellence Award” (Lifetime achievement) in Obstetrics &Gynaecology by Hippocrates foundation in 2014.
• Felicitated by ‘Abdul Kalam gold medal’ in 2015, by “Rashtriya Gaurav Gold Medal Award” for ‘Outstanding Individual achievement ’ in 2017 at Chennai, and Bharat Ratna Rajiv Gandhi Bharat gold medal award’, at Tamil Nadu in 2022 by Global Economic Progress & Research Association (GRIPRA).
• Ranked as Best Fertility and IVF Centre in Delhi, NCR & North Zone by Times of India, All India Fertility & IVF Ranking Survey 2017 on 16th December 2016.
• Felicitated by infertility committee of FOGSI in 2017 at all India congress of Ob/Gyn for imparting the ‘highest number of advanced infertility observer ships’ to gynaecologist in last 3 years at the IVF centre of her hospital across the country.
• Felicitated by Association of National Board Accredited Institutions (ANBAI & NBE) New Delhi in September 2017, as “Distinguished DNB Teacher of Excellence” PG Medical Education & Examinations, India and, in again in May 2019 as ‘Distinguished Teacher of Excellence’ in PG Medical Education & Examinations, by Indian Fertility Society Haryana, Annual Conference.
• Felicitated by “The Economic Times on Doctor’s Day Conclave 2018” for “Inspiring Gynaecologists of India” on 30th June 2018 at Delhi.
• Felicitated for the highest award in the speciality of reproductive medicine by Merck and Serono pharma company on 25th Nov 2018.
• Awarded by ZEE business health care awards function, ‘Woman leadership award 2019’.
• Awarded at the first edition of Economic Times Health Care award function ‘IVF Champion of IVF’ India, ‘ICON of IVF of North India’, and her team as the ‘Best integrated national team of IVF’ in 2019. Awarded for the second time ‘National champion of IVF’ at the second edition of ‘ET Health World Fertility award function on the 25th of February 2022, and then again as national ICON of the year IVF for the 3rd time consecutively in a row on 21st February 2023.
• Awarded as ‘Pioneer in IVF’ at Indian Medical Tourism Summit held at the Taj Man Singh Hotel, Delhi on 1st February 2020.
• Awarded with ‘Lifetime achievement award’ by ‘FERTIVISION 17’ the annual conference held by the Indian fertility society at the inaugural function in December 2021, and by ob/gyn society of Jammu and Kashmir with ISAR J&K, at their annual conference HORIZON -3 in May 2022.
• Conferred the designation of Professor GRIPMER in Dec 2012 by the dean of Sir Ganga Ram Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and research (GRIPMER). Selected as ‘Member of Board of Management of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital’, in 2016. Awarded “Long service award for 35 years” at Sir Ganga Ram hospital on Founder’s Day on 13th April 2022. Elected as member of the executive committee of the Board of Management of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in October 2022. Conferred the status of Emeritus consultant at SGRH on the merit of work done in the hospital in November 2022.
• Felicitated with the Golden ICON award at the inaugural function organised by IAGE & KOGS committee GSVM medical college Kanpur held in May 2022.
• Awarded with ‘Excellence Service Award,’ at the international conference for award winners in engineering, science and medicine held at INSO award function in Pondicherry in April 2023.
• Awarded with ‘Excellence and leadership in healthcare award’ at the Golden aim award function by Dynergic business solutions in New Delhi in 2020 (digital platform), 2022, 2023 and 2024.
